Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just curious how long I can expect my clutch to last. Granted I'm aware of all the variables associated with this question BUT I am still curious if I can expect 60k+ miles out of it? I don't abuse the clutch but I do track events and I do drive it hard from time to time. I've been driving standard tanny's all my life so I can and do drive them very well. Anyone with a 99' with more than 60k miles? Anyone with more than 60k miles on their first clutch?

POST 3Original post

I don't know whether the Carrera and the Turbo share the same clutch, but my August '00 Turbo has passed the 140'000 km mark (87'000 miles) on the original clutch. Just had an oil leakage in the "clutch terminator"(?) this week, but the clutch itself is still doing good. Oh, and I do about 15-20 track-days per year. Greetings, --Pierre
