Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

http://personal.inet.fi/surf/porsche..._plan/varrera/

POST 2Original post

this is an old site. Clearly before the of just after the boxster came out in 96. Wouldn't worry about it much. Bob

POST 3Original post

Nope It was probably insperation for the Pepper! It looks like it went in the pile with the 928 station wagon.

POST 5Original post

I think that PAG may in fact have considered a mini-van. What manufacturer wouldn't study that possibility. In fact Mercedes (Daimler-Chrysler to be PC) designed the M series as a minivan and only changed their minds very late in the concept. I don't think there will be a Porsche Mini-van tho

POST 7Original post

So that explains why the M-class looks like a lifted mini van.

POST 8Original post

In the ROW Mercedes has a mini-van. It called the A-class

POST 9Original post

Yes, but the Japanese minivans will put it to shame. The A Class doesn't have nearly as many gismos and features that make minivans so popular with moms

POST 10Original post

Actually, I would welcome a minivan from Porsche. It means the company will be making more money as minivans are highly profitable, and so they will not have to cut costs on the 911 in order to make money. Plus, I can get one for my wife, dump the Honda, and have 2 P-cars (the more the better)

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think Pcars would run into a wall with them. Imagine a performance oriented Minivan. With soccer moms; performance = speed, speed kills, don't like kids in dangerous cars.... My .02

POST 12Original post

Torags, I see your point, but Is there anything more unstable than an SUV? Yet it is a big money maker for Porsche, with (as yet) no negative impact.

POST 13Original post

Why would it have to be performance oriented? Cayenne VW V6 performance oriented? Don't think so. I'll promise, once they roll out Porsche minivan, I'll go and **** on the door step at Stuttgart.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have you driven the Pepper? If not try one...

POST 15Original post

This is actually photochop work. The front end is a Renault Twingo and the body/rear from a Renault Espace. What a joke...

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I would consider the V6 on the the journey to a minivan. this would wrist most of the performance orientation out of the brand; since most of the owners then - would not be interested in performance. Prior to your doorstep performance, finish a six pack of Bud lite & do it the American way.

POST 18Original post

They will probably build it at Leipzig, if at all. The Stuttgart plant is barely big enough for 911s and Boxsters. Does the Porsche badge on Cayenne and Carrera GT says "Stuttgart"? or does it say "Leipzig"?

POST 19Original post

I know but I though Mr. W & his bean counters are at Stuttgart. Whatta heck, while I'm there, I might as well go and do it at both places.
