Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
Took it to the dealer and they thought it was the cataylitc converter.
Leading evidence: 'cataylitc converter' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'cataylitc converter' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I want to put a Fabspeed Exhaust on my C4S Cab but I'm worried about the
Porsche warranty. I called the dealer and they say there could be a problem
with a non porsche part in the future. Before I go ahead and install the Fabspeeds
any advice?
That "Non-Porsche part" statement is an oft repeated refrain from Porsche dealers. Truth is, they have to be able to directly relate that part to whatever went wrong before they can even consider denying warrantee. A lot also depends on the rapport you have with your dealer. In an effort to keep good relations, they will often cover almost anything.
That's for that point. I have PSE, open all the time, and love it. If you have concerns regarding warrantee, PSE is probably your best bet.
I have the Fabspeed muffler on my car for day-to-day and the GT3 bypass pipes for when I want to compete with the Harleys and for auto-x...
The Fabspeed mufflers sound great... as many have noted here they are a slightly deeper tone.. some people seem to think they sound "american V8 muscle car like" which I think is BS - they do sound nice and powerful though....
My car is out of warranty with porsche - the only thing I'm worried about going prematurly on the car is the RMS and I can't imagine a muffler having anything to do with that.
On both the Fabspeed mufflers as well as the bypass pipes the workmanship is excellent - they are little works of welding art to be sure....

Obviously Porsche would like you to buy their products but my understanding is that they openly promote the notion that Pcars will be
moded with aftermarket bits. Obviously if you toy with something
and then want warranty support for it they will tell you where to get off.
But by fitting a non Porsche approved part (although not recommended by Porsche) it should not affect warranty unless the part effects the normal wear and tear of other warranted parts in the vehicle.
So basically, if you fit a supercharger, don't ask Porsche to fix your engine if it blows up. Fitting a Fabspeed wont affect warranty but don't expect them to warrant any other exhaust parts. Common sense really.
I put a Fabspeed exhaust on and after a month things began rattling from the rear. Took it to the dealer and they thought it was the cataylitc converter. They replaced it without any problems under warranty. Yes it corrected the problem.
Here's one for the PSE (which I don't have) 'fans':
My salesman was telling me that one of the DE drivers pointed out to him that the PSE equipped cars get another 4 MPH down the back straight at their track. Porsche claims there is no increase in power but this story indicates otherwise, plus its logical that at higher revs the beast will breather a little stronger. I'm still thinking GHL self installed and removed before any engine related warranty claims, should that unlikely event arise.
