Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 1999 C2. Per your post, I got a Carnewal 3rd radiator kit. I also bought a GT3 bumper cover to fit a 1999. First, how do I access your DIY page? I have registered etc etc and it will not let me in. Admittedly, I am not a computer guy. Could you send me a link or tell me how to view your instructions? Also, the cover I got(996 505 983 01) does not have a center plug in the bumper cover. The center is solid plastic. Should I cut it out with a utility knife? When the 3rd radiator is in, how do I bleed the system? Thanks for the help. Alex

POST 3Original post

Alex, you can cut it out with a utility knife and smooth out edges with sandpaper before painting of course. I remember Loren advised to cut at the outer line so as to line up the bumper opening with the opening of the third radiator. check with him to make sure.
