At that time I bought a new set of center caps with colored crests, mine were not looking new anymore and since I was changing the wheels and tires I thought what the heck.

Hello, Approx 6 months ago I upgraded my wheels with the 02 5 spokes from Wheel Enhancement. At that time I bought a new set of center caps with colored crests, mine were not looking new anymore and since I was changing the wheels and tires I thought what the heck. I recently noticed the new center caps that I paid $180 for are peeling. The plastic cover over them looks as if its shriveling up. Do you guys think Wheel enhancement should replace these under warranty? Thanks for the advice. Steve

The service from WE sucks. It took them 6 months for them to do good on just exchanging some chrome lugs that were peeling in sheets. Back and forth for months, telling me to come down to the shop a few times just to find out no one there or having enough sets for paying customers. Which I already have in full, cash. No return calls after countless times, Apathy. I could go on and on.

I thought the colored center caps where made out of metal, engraved and painted?

Any OEM cap that was painted fr Porsche has a warranty, and clearcoat shouldnt peel, shrink or otherwise in 6months!!! I tend to think that if you have a decent relationship with your dealer, they might just swap them out for you. If wheel enhancement is being as lame as Oak said...I wouldnt waste my time with them.....I'm making a mental note to avoid them in the future too! One thing to make sure of is that you did NOT use a corrosive cleaner or harsh chemical to wash your wheels with, because that will also cause the wheel finish to have problems too. hope this helps
