Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bled the brakes today but couldn't find the clutch bleed valve. Does anyone have a picture of where it is for next time?

POST 2Original post

See my DIY pages (under brake/clutch bleeding)

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Loren, I did....thanks...that's how I did the job. But I couldn't tell where the clutch bleed valve was from that rendering that was shown. A photo would help a lot more. Thanks, Jake

POST 4Original post

there is not picture that I know of but his instructions if you follow them are always more than ample.

POST 5Original post

It is mounted high on the transmission above the axle on the drivers side rear. That is why I suggest doing it when you are bleeding the left rear rear wheel.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Loren, I looked while I was there but didn't see it. I didn't want to stick my head in there too far because I was using a jack and not jack stands. I'll check it out again when I have it on jackstands. Thanks. Quoted from SPR: "there is not picture that I know of but his instructions if you follow them are always more than ample." SPR: Obviously for me, they weren't. That's why I was writing. I followed his instructions for the third radiator install and they worked great for me. In this case, I just didn't see it. Is that OK with you? In other words...your comment was not helpful to me at all.
