Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi. I had my 996 GT3 sport seats refinished in Carrera red to match the rest of my RS60 Boxster. They look great, but the monkey (dumb human) that disassembled the plastic parts where the shoulder harness pass though, first stripped the torx-head screws that hold the plastic collars in place, and then actually screwed some phillips-head trim screws right though and out the front side of the plastic collar! I need to get the part numbers for the correct torx head screws and a set of new plastic collars. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Why would you need to remove those pieces in the first place? The seatbelt goes through the hoop, you need to disconnect the seatbelt anchor...

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The seats were refinished. The leather color was changed. All parts that contacted the leather were removed to allow for a complete color change. Just like any work, the trim pieces must be removed to provide access. I need part numbers for the screws and the plastic collars (as requested)

POST 4Original post

996 521 905 90 is the kit for the plastic trim and the screws for one seat, you would need two for both seats
