Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm new to the 996 fold and have what may be a stupid question. My new Race car needs a thorough engine bay cleaning as it came from the west coast where the tracks are dusty. Anything I should be careful of when approaching this project? Any recommendations or products you recommend is also welcomed. Before I point the hose at it I wanted some experienced advise... Thanks

Sorry. I did the search function shortly after I posted... Premature Post I suppose.. I'll have more soon. But I got it 2 days ago and as mentioned it is a mess.. I've taken several decals off and then took the seats, weights, etc out of the interior to gt all the rocks, dirt, rubber, that was in it out... Then I decided to paint the roll cage and do a proper cleaning. That's where I am now. As far a as specs.. It's a former Pro Koni Challenge car so it is loaded up with stuff I'm discovering... When I get it cleaned up, and the dash sorted, and with my graphics scheme I'll post lots of shots.. Here it is right now.. In pieces.
