Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Okay, had a poke around the 99 996 that is new to me yesterday, hastened by a CEL that tripped after a carwash, touch less. Code was 1124. Right bank lean, most common cause air leak. It was only the right bank, no 1126 code. Anyway, I disconnected the battery for a minute, and the code cleared and did not come back. It all looks really clean under the car except for the attached image. What is this line? Seems like the only oily bit under the whole engine.Rest is very dry. This image is looking up at right(passenger) side of car, rear most part of engine. Let me know,
