GOOD used tires to be more specific. Something that I can put on and use for a weekend DE instead of buying brand new tires. I think my S-02's are too far gone and don't want to risk it and I would rather not abuse a brand new pair of tires either. Of course I will if I can't find a decent pair of used ones! I live in Houston...anyone local able to help me out?

Is it really worth all of the mountain and unmounting of tyres and the risk of damaging the rims in the process? How much are you saving? The tyres for these cars don't last long but they aren't so expensive either. Stephen

A former customer of mine, specializes in USED tires, on Richmond blvd at Chimney Rock...behind Taco Cabana....[phone removed]! You'll have to HUNT for the good ones...so GOOD LUCK! There is a place on the NW side of town off of Hempstead Hwy and the 290/610 interchange. Its called American Wheel and Tire. They might have what your lookin for, but you also have to HUNT through alot of used tires too....

Nick, why not get a set of inexpensive rims from Wheel Enhancement, or Tire Rack (Mille Miglia is not that much) for dedicated DE events, and keep the stock rims for street? Swapping tires back and forth is a royal pain, plus the bead where the rim meets the tire can get damaged. My 2 cents
