Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 996 with a CPO from porsche ending in August, if i will keep my car i need to get a warranty. Park place porsche where i bought my car has one but its 5k for total 3 year coverage, is there anything else out there i should look into. i heard of warranty gold from the board. Please let me know if you have any aftermarket warranty. thank you.

POST 2Original post

Couple of years ago I looked into this and couldn't find any available, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Do you have specific concerns or has your car had a run of problems? Just a thought ... if you can't find one and/or they are $5,000 .... you might want to just stick those dollars in a term deposit of some sort and draw on them as warranty-based repairs come up.
