Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well folks, I finally picked up my 2003 C2... 6sp, Lapis Blue, 18" sport classic wheels with colored crest wheel caps, Graphite Grey Full Leather (supple front/rear) with matching floor mats, power seat pkg and Bose High End sound pkg. The sound pkg was worth the extra $$$. I live in So CA and there are very few Lapis Blue C2's around, which I like. Heavy on Silver & Black from what I've seen... I can't go anywhere without finding the longesttttttt way home Yesterday I went to the gym for an hour, got home in 3+hrs. I live in the Inland Empire where we have great back country roads through out the foothills and not to many officers. One things for sure, I need all the practice I can get with my 6sp/clutch. In one week I've stalled it 3 times at lights. Couldn't feel the clutch and gas with my tennis shoes on, so I bought some soft leather driving shoes which make all the difference in the world. I am ordereding the transport system for our racing bikes and looking at the luggage system for our golf trips... Anybody purchase Porsche luggage? Way to much fun guys. Anybody have suggestions on worthy radar systems?

POST 2Original post

Titan, Do you have a hardtop or a conv? I just got an RTS for my cab....very cool stuff, but MAN does it howl on the highway! 2 mtn bikes, 85 mph, no problem! Radar systems, the V1, pretty easy to hard wire, and there is the remote display option, or even custom mirrors with the remote display built in... Best of luck with the new ride...

POST 3Original post

Heh-heh-heh. You have a knack for hitting the right buttons to start wars. V1, Bel, 8500........all very good. I like 8500 best, and so do a lot of magazines. Congratulations on the new car!!!! If you think it's a lot of fun now, wait until you have it broken in and drive it on a track. Guaranteed ear to ear grin that will last a good week.

Coupe... Just sold my mtn bike and about to sell my wifes. I am going back to road training which was my first love years ago, and my wife is following along. I just build up a custom Fondriest Titan with full campy. I will look into V1's. I've heard a lot about them.

POST 6Original post

Wow, bought a house 4wks ago and now a new '03 C2....What are you going to buy next Week/Month? haha

POST 7Original post

I just hard wired installed the V1 with the remote concealed display on the steering column. There are many threads here with pictures of the V1 installation. Saved me already!

POST 8Original post

Bought an '03 C2 Cab and had my wife convinced that I needed to keep the 740i for taking customers/clients out, etc. She bought into this for only a week and is forcing me to sell the 7, which is now for sale on consignment at a dealer. Then, last week my former boss decides to sell his RV and my wife says, we should buy it! Can't keep the 7 which is fully paid for, but sure go ahead and dump a ton of cash, (2 times the value of the 7, BTW), into an RV!Go figure, WOMEN! Congrats on the house, bike and oh, the Porsche. Maybe I 'll see on the twisties on highway 79.

HI Titan, I have been a member of the San Diego chapter since 1998. This is my second P car, (first was a '98 Boxster that I had for 2 years). DId a bit of autocrossing, but have not been an active member since selling the Boxster. Purchased the car from Pioneer. Akira
