Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I would like to gradually upgrade my stereo, starting with the head unit. Complications? I don't mind running new wire from a powered head unit to the speakers, if that's the only problem.

POST 2Original post

Of course. It's just a single DIN unit. You may need an adapter to go from the factory harness to the new harness or an install kit.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And where do I find such a harness?

POST 5Original post

Get the part #/brand/etc from crutchfield and then shop around...I've found them to be a bit pricey...
