Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

and manuals.....? http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...-up-996-a.html thoughts and/or actual butt dyno experience?

POST 2Original post

ummm it is a "sport" button for your e-gas pedal. I have one too. I push down more sooner. You will think the car goes faster w/ less pedal input. Your foot moves the pedal 1x and the booster tells the throttle body you moved 1.5x (for example). It simply multiplies the signal from the gas pedal to the throttle body.

POST 3Original post

I just tweaked my speedo to make me think I was going faster than I am . . . Just kidding--actually, this is kind of interesting--I realize it essentially readjusts the pedal, but I think it might be nice. Kind of pricy for what it does.

POST 4Original post

I have no idea what this Sprint Booster thing is but you can modify the throttle map by defeating the clutch delay switch. Best of all, this mod is FREE and reversible. http://www.planetporsche.net/cayman-...eated-joy.html Apprently, after the clutch is used, the throttle is made a bit less sensitive for a few seconds. This mod basically defeats that clutch delay so the throttle feels bit more responsive. It does make balancing the clutch at low RPM a bit trickier, and the cruise control will be deactivated. It's weird, the car feels more powerful. But in reality all that's happened is the gas pedal is more sensitive.
