Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

With everyone's great input regarding my last post I was finally able to close a deal on my new car.
If any of you live in New Jersey I hope you can help me with my next problem. I tried to add the car to my business auto policy and they refused to cover it. They said that it is a high horsepower performance car and they want no part of it.
Do any of you know a good agent in New Jersey or know a good insurance company that you would recommend?
Thanks again for everthing!!!
Thanks Doc. I just sold my wife's Volvo 850 GLT (we got an XC90-terrific SUV by the way) which was insured with State Farm but we had gotten a non renewal notice as they were apparently trimming their book of business in our great state. From what I know, State Farm is culling all of their auto business in NJ in an effort to leave the state.
I'll give them a call tomorrow anyway. It can't hurt to try. Thanks!!
Hi, I am in Bergen county and I am waiting for my c4s cab. I will be insuring with Allstate, but alas a personal policy. NJ Manufacturers is good but they have some caveats and the employer/business has to be registered with them. I am planning on joining a local Porsche club that a friend of mine belongs to, I will pass it along when I find out. By the way what did you get?
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I was unable to post a reply remotely. Any time I used a computer other than my home computer it would ask for my password, I would give it then it would kick me out.
Well, I'm finally home so I can post. I got an '03 triple black cabrio, Bose stereo, power heated seats, auto dimming mirror and auto wipers, 18" wheels, supple leather, & PSM!!! (and a Porsche under 20lbs. baby seat)
The car is amazing. I would like to really thank all of you for your valuable input.
By the way, the Bose stereo is a complete let down. I can't believe how bad it is. Both my BMW and wife's Volvo have far superior sound systems. It's pretty pathetic.
Here's a picture (hopefully I did this right)...hmmm it said the image was too big. I tried cutting and pasting and adding it as an attachment with no luck. Any recommendations?
Chubb is certainly the way to go if you can get in there. They are used to dealing with customers with exotic cars and seem to have figured out that your chance of causing them a big loss is related primarily to what you have to loose (ie your overall financial wherewithal) not with how many tickets you might have. They tend, however, to deal only with select agents with a high income clientele. If you qualify for the Private Client Group at your bank, I'd ask your banker for a recommendation of an agent, and if that doesn't work I'd then try calling the Private Client Group at Marsh (a very large agency with offices in every state) but they may be skittish about getting a cold call from a potential new client so it might be best to have your banker do the introduction.
