Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any comments on buying an aluminum set of pedals? Any recommendations on where to buy them? Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

I'd go with Ruf. They are probably the most expensive, but I believe look the best!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Don, I've heard that, wow, great pictures, any recommendations on where to buy these? Do you know what's the msrp on a full set?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Are these easy to install (avg time)?

POST 5Original post

They are very easy to install. The rubber accelerator and pedals pop right off and the pedals are mounted on the bases..except for the dead pedal which is mounted right over the rubber. The Ruf pedals come with little stainless bolts and nuts. I used a couple of small "C" clamps to hold down the pedal to the base. Holes are already drilled in the pedals so you just have to push the drill bit through the predrilled holes and through the bases. The brake pedal (at least my Tip) is metal and tales longer than the accelerator...2 little bolts in each pedal. The dead pedal just screws in. I can't locate the invoice but total cost was qround $500...certainly not cheap. I bought mine from www.weissach.com in Canada, but I sould suggest you check the Rennlist sponsors first. There is also a company producing them w/o the RUF tm and for a lot less. I'd suggest doing a search if no one responds with information.
