Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You can just tap the power and find a ground over by the fuse box and stuff the splitter up and under the dash area, then run the wires accordingly.

Then I want to wire the detector so I can avoid using the cigarette lighter.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I know this has been discussed over numerous times, but hopefully someone can help me out. I have the Valentine One radar and it is just mounted on the windshield. However I want to change the location and place it next to the rear-view mirror and mount it up there with the suction cups. Then I want to wire the detector so I can avoid using the cigarette lighter. I also want to install the concealed display with band identification on top of my steering wheel. Now I have the navigation so underneath I have the storage shelf and temperature control, I don't know if that makes a difference in terms of wiring, etc.. If anyone could send me step by step instructions I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Just one question, it says: Remove the CD holders, center storage tray and the leather sides and carpet sections from the front center console (they all just pull off). However, I have the temperature control and the heated seats controls, due to the navigation. Is this going to be a problem or anyway I can get around this. Thanks.
03-C4S,
Not sure about the navagation unit removal, but maybe you could do the same thing by removing the sides and working in a tighter area.
However, the splitter box can be located anywhere. You can just tap the power and find a ground over by the fuse box and stuff the splitter up and under the dash area, then run the wires accordingly. Should be pretty easy.
I have Nav too ... and I didn't like the look of it on my steering wheel.
So ... I opted to put it in the little ashtray compartment, after all, who the hell would smoke in a 911 anyway?!
This has the advantage of being concealed by just flipping the little door shut.
Thanks again potxoli for all your help, just wanted to make sure I did everything properly. I think I'm going to place it on the steering wheel, don't want to always look down to see where a cop might be.
