Also the interior lights won't shut off and using the manual lock on the dash does not work...

Just had a aftermarket stereo system installed and after it was all put in we tried the factory alarm and it locked then unlocked a second later! Also the interior lights won't shut off and using the manual lock on the dash does not work... We removed the factory deck and amp... we grounded the wire that was connected to the amp but that was useless... It seems that it is sensing that something is open.. when everything is closed.. The aftermarket alarm does the same thing... locks then unlocks.. Has anyone had this problem?

Oh yes!! And then some.... I'll post pics when Im done.... PS.. I got the dash strips out .. I'll tell you all about it when its done.
