Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I want to take out my seat and the passenger seat to install my GT3 seats. Can someone please post/email/pm the easiest and best instructions for removal and installation. Thank you.

POST 2Original post

There are four bolts that hold each seat in, and one electrical connector. The electrical connector is a little tricky because there is a latch you have to pull out endwise. Once you get the hang of it, it is no trouble. Some people recommend disconnecting the battery. I would recommend you install a seatbelt receiver on the GT3 seats. If the receiver is missing when the ignition is on, the airbag warning light comes on and must be reset with a PST2. Search the forum for GT3 seats, and you'll find a ton of info.

POST 3Original post

Disconnect the battery or remove the key if you do not want an air bag light. You need an E12 torx socket for the bolts, but you can get away with a 3/8" socket. 48 foot pounds is the torque. Jeff
