Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yep! Did the stupidest thing on my way home, Really tired after a long day, and just wanted to see how closely I can hug the corner and rubbed my passenger side rear rims on the curb Do any of you guys know where I can get it fixed in Dayton OHIO, Wheels of america is nowhere close. It barely caught the curb, rims are not bent just got scratched pretty bad at a couple of spots. It is stock C4S wheels. Any help is greatly appreciated. (I am a F@#$%n idiot).

POST 2Original post

Call around. Mercedes, Lexus and Porsche dealers usually use ONE guy to do this on site. Find the name and call him up. Could be under $100/wheel for this depending on damage, and it's done on the car. Otherwise, a Porsche-aware body shop can fix.

POST 4Original post

Call Beechmont Porsche in Cincy and ask for David Profitt. They use someone who charges $65 per wheel if I remember correctly. Supposedly does good work. Maybe some Cincy guys on here will respond as well.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll try my local dealer or david proffit. Good to hear that it's an inexpensive fix. There is a glitch in my computer viewing this thread. It did not show any replies to my question and yet when i added my last thread it displays the three postings. I opened another window and I tried it again, and see 0 replies ???
