There are people on the prowl for quality used performance parts, and I think you will be able to sell these sooner than the car.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Guess I should start selling my car in anticipation of the TT cab and haven't a clue what it is worth. Any experiences of late would be much appreciated.

Always garaged, broken in according strictly to the manual, always allowed car to get to normal operating temp before exceeding 4200 RPMs (as per manual), non-smoker. Car has zero paintwork, but I am considering repainting the front bumber and maybe the hood for rock chips.
Upgrades:
Porsche Twin turbo/GT3 brakes ($3k installed by factory Porsche Master tech)
Optional Porsche 3rd radiator (installed by factory Porsche tech)
GT3 seats (about $3k). Still have stock supple leather, full power, heated ones with 7k miles on them.
H&R coilovers w/GT3 adjustable sways (about $3500 installed - by factory Porsche Master tech). Still have stock suspension which has 7k miles on it.
Traffic Pro Nav (says Porsche on it). $1500 installed
Porsche HPAS installed by factory Porsche tech (the $2 to $3k stereo system only available through Porsche parts) - plus the optional several hundred $ each rear speakers, all installed by Porsche factory tech.
Am I better off returning it to stock (except for the brakes), selling off the GT3 etc stuff, or looking for a home as it is?
In general, you will have a wider appeal if the car is stock. The performance enhancements narrow the buying field down quite a bit. The flip side of the coin is that you will not be able to get back whatever labor it took to put the enhancements in, nor for the labor it will take to take them out.
For the general public, you will find a buyer sooner if it's stock. There are people on the prowl for quality used performance parts, and I think you will be able to sell these sooner than the car. If you get a lucky break and find someone who appreciates the enhancements and wants the whole car as well, that would be your best price. I have to say I have no idea what the price of the car would be with all the enhancements on. It's a crap shoot.
As far as repainting, I would leave the paint original so the buyer can see that there is no damage. Then offer to have it repainted to get rid of the paint chips. Most knowledgeable buyers can tell if there's been a repaint. This way it's a lot easier than explaing that there REALY is no damage and you just had it painted due to small nicks and chips.
I had a recent disappointing experience when I found out what the resale values of these cars are. I decided to keep my car instead.
I happen to be one of those on the prowl for quality used parts. I also happen to honestly believe you can probably get a better over all deal sooner if you sell the car stock and sell off the performance enhancements separately, but that may be an unrecognized bias on my part. Once you make up your mind one way or the other, let me know. I'd love to get your GT3 seats. Are they grey or black?
Hi Palting.
I'm thinking about swaping the seats out Sunday and selling the GT3s at least. I've got quite a while to find a local brake swap party. My seats are graphite grey.
