This is not a probability of success.

So I took the plunge and bought a 2003 C4S today. Polar Silver, Graphite Grey, Xenon, Bose, Alu Shifter/Brake, Heated seats and painted wheel crests. It is gorgeous, especially in Polar. It is such a different car from my '99 boxster, its hard to believe.
Unfortunately It had not been dealer prep'ed inspected and it was getting very late, so I won't actually pick it up until tomorrow. Not much sleep tonight especially since I need to take out the black GT3 seats from my boxster to put the original seats back in for the trade in.
Anyone in the DC area interested in mint condition black leather GT3 seats?
I'll post pics as soon as I get it.
I got it today !!!. It takes my breath away, such a fantastic car. The only thing is that according to the manual, break in is going 2000 miles. Ack! I'll never make it that long without going past 4200rpms, its torture. 1000 miles is bad enough. Must drive more....some pics

potxoli,
Congrats on the new ride! Looks beautiful!!! One recommended change, get clear marker lights (avail at Suncoast Porsche for ~$30), they'll blend in better with AS....
As far as the break in period, there have been many posts on the subject, and there are those that say that its more for you to get a feel of the car than to break in the mechanicals....
Enjoy....
Gorgeous and very jealous! And welcome to the Forum. If the look takes your breath away you better take an oxygen mask when you hit it at 7000 revs :-)))
Love those red calipers too. Are they standard on the new C4S
Also, I love the big red reflector across the back. I have always wondered why the hell they took that away from the 911. I am contemplating ordering one from cagraphic. They are not expensive. Mind you it won't be like the real one as it looks like the rear engine bay lid is sculptured especially to take it.
Best of luck to you and be patient. Run it in by the book. Then one mile after give it heaps. I would love to see your face when you do that for the first time.
damn! i love the wheels on the car. (i have the same one now)
i just ordered a set of cargraphic 19" wheels. i like the look of 19s, but i also in love with the stock wheels. what a waste if they are sitting in my garage
