Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

When I got home I checked my 99 and it did the very same thing.
Leading evidence: 'Check 99 and it did the very same thing' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check 99 and it did the very same thing' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I tried setting the blower from auto to manual and only blowing at my feet, but it still happens.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a dumb question-- the last few days, when i turn on my car in the morning and turn on the A/C, condensation starts to form on the outside of the lower front windshield. I tried setting the blower from auto to manual and only blowing at my feet, but it still happens. What am I doing wrongly?
The Porsche AC has a mind of it's own. The defroster likes to stay on. Annoying, particularly in humid weather where the outside windshield gets condensation. I've learned to ignore it, or, if it's bad enough, turn on the wiper for one swipe.
same in my previous and same i learn in all... just press the button that directs the air to the front grills, the climate control will not show auto again but it will work automatically...

I assume "front grill" to mean dash panel outlets. At first I took "front grill" to mean the defrost outlets.
I have found it better overall, more airflow at lower blower speeds, and therefore without the restricted airflow "rushing" noise, if I activate both the dash outlets and the footwell outlets.
I have always considered this a "firmware" design flaw, commited by some dyslexic programmer. If you notice, the amount of airflow routed to the interior surface of the windshield is significantly greater in cooling mode than in wintertime heating mode.
Exactly the opposite, winter/summer of the way it should work. In wintertime you ALWAYS want to warm the windshield, lots of system airflow so it's always safely above the dewpoint of the passenger cabin atmosphere.
I can't think of any reason why you would want to route cooling airflow toward the windshield, EVER.
When I turned my 01 C4 back in at the factory for the shipment home I was convinced that the A/C cooling capacity was not up to snuff. I told the factory representative that when we dropped it off.
We picked it up about noon in early July at POE, and in early evening after just driving through a rainshower approaching Birmingham AL, the exterior of the windshield fogged over almost instantaniously. That's when I fist discovered the summertime windshield cooling anomally. When I got home I checked my 99 and it did the very same thing.
The reason I had thought the A/C didn't have enough cooling capacity back in Europe was because the stupid thing was trying to cool the windshield, an impossible task on a hot and bright sunny day. All of that cooling capacity directed to the windshield is simply wasted, glass IS NOT an insulator.
Which is, of couse, why we have thermopane in most of our homes. The "gas" between the two (3??) panes of glass is the real insulator.
