Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just replaced my stock tiny wing from my C4S with another wing, but the light on my dash kept warning me that there is a failure on my wing.. Does anyone know how to disable it? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Mon, You didn't mention if you replaced your old one with a fixed wing or the stock retractable one. If you replaced it with the retractable, you probably should not disable the light as it is trying to warn you of a potential problem. Nevertheless, I think the yellow/green wire in the connector that goes to your tail in the engine bay supplies current to the warning light. Disconnecting this should stop it coming on. Personally, I would check that the tail connection terminator at the loom is plugged in corectly. Maybe the pins need cleaning. Failing this there is a relay under the dash on the right. One relay is for spoiler up, the other s for spoiler down. There are other relays there too but unfortunately I can't tell you which relay it is. This may or may not be useful info. I had a problem where the tail failed to rise automatically at 75mph and the failure light came on. It turned out to be the connector that connects the tail electrics to the loom on right side of the engine bay. I unplugged it, cleaned it up and then reconnected it. The problem went away.
