Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

2 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just took my 2000 Cab in to fix a rattling right side dash again for the 3rd time and it is still not fixed. They said they tightened the Airbag mount and fixed it but that is not it. I have had no other major issues with the car and it runs like a champ but this is driving me nuts. I already had the windshield seal re-oiled since that was making noise too but is something different. Anybody else with a similar problem

POST 2Original post

Are you sure it's the dash and not drivers door panel. I have (and heard others) have a noise in the door. If I just barely touch the door it stops, it is sensitive to the idle vibration. <img border="0" alt="[burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

POST 4Original post

When I first had my car I could hear a slight rattle from the right front dash. Mentioned it to the dealer and they took it into the shop, had it fixed in a few minutes, they said there was a TSB on it. This was back in Dec '99.
