Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
good advise, always check the most simple and obvious first.
Leading evidence: 'Check most simple and obvious first' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check most simple and obvious first' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

If you are using coilovers, you need to lower the drop link pickup, or if you are using adjustable drop links, extend the link.

Suggestion
Fixed points and an adjustable sway bar really should use an adjustible length droplink to keep the bar in the right place and make it so it does not contact anything.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

got GT3 sway bars, drop links and h & R springs installed today...have a clunking noise over bumps..i understand the drop links are now metal on metal but is this normal?
I have the H&R sways and it's totally normal. Comes withthe territory of having stiffer sways with polyurethane bushing. Take the bumps sideways gangster style or just apply some extra lube under those bushings. But I wouldn't worry.

From my understanding this is NOT normal. The bars are contacting the A-Arms. If you are using coilovers, you need to lower the drop link pickup, or if you are using adjustable drop links, extend the link. A 1/4" should be plenty to have the bar clear. Be careful as contact can result in broken links and this is not something you want to fail around a turn going fast.
went back to shop..he said clunk was normal as drop links are metal on metal...alon suggested gert at carnewal might have a solution...any other input?

metal ones..i dont know brand...gert at carnewal said there is a fix...he also told me that metal drop links are the best but that they are too noisy for the street
I'd agree that metal droplinks are the best. The paper or plastic ones don't seem to be strong enough. Just kidding. If you did H&R springs only, you have fixed droplink mounting points. Fixed points and an adjustable sway bar really should use an adjustible length droplink to keep the bar in the right place and make it so it does not contact anything. Gert can get you the Porsche parts (big $$$) or call TRG and get theirs.
I have a '04 GT3 and I did experience a "clunk" after driving it for two days on the Nurburgring. Upon ispection I found the front drop links to be loose. Once tightened all was fine and back to normal.
Mine links are metal to metal and no clunking. Good idea to check to see if they are loose. Hoe do you know they are not hitting? Did you stick your head under the car while it was driving? Don't try it if you have not!

i took the car back to the shop and they had it on the hoist. checking it so thays why i know its not loose...the shop is fiorano and they race and tune GT3 cup so i trust they know what they are doing...you might have metal drop likes with differnt bushings perhaps??
