Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I've had two cabs a 1999 and a 2002 and neither has leaked in the rain or in a car wash (except when I went thru a brushless car wash that only used really high pressure water, then I got one or two drips).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Please help me. I took my car to the wand wash today and found that it leaked fairly consistently from the top of the window. I was spraying right at it but with not much pressure. I have also noticed this in the rain. Has anyone ever experienced this before with their cabriolet ? Is the fix an easy one ? (I hate Sundays....can't call the dealership) <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" />

POST 2Original post

I've never had a problem with leaking in my 2001 Cab. I live in Florida and have been in some incredible rain storms with out any problems. I've never had a problem with leaking when washing the car. Having written this; now I'm probably going to have the bad mojo on my Cab!

POST 3Original post

My Cab leaks only when I wash it. I.e., when I spray it with the hose. It leaks at the point where the door window meets the windscreen pillar at the top. This happens on both sides. I know what the problem is, I just haven't got around to fixing it. The rubbers have gone on the cab lid and/or the windscreen side pillers.

And you expected............??? Convertibles leak, as do Targas, both types. So what?
