I have a 99C4 and about half the time the car will not start the first time I turn the key. I have disenage and engage the clutch again and then it will kick over. About 6 months ago the thing never started and they replaced the computer. Anyone else have this problem, and if so, what can be done? Today it took me 4 cycles to start. Do you mean the engine turns over but doesn't start? or do you mean you turn the key and nothing happens? In the second case it could be the clutch interlock switch.

with me i have diffrent type of problem when i start it, the engine runs but on a very low rpm 300-500 rpm ... and sometimes i get the Battry indicator light i switch it off and on again .. everything Goes OK. cant figure out whats wrong could it be a damaged sparkplug ?
