Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We were on holiday in Sitges, near Barcelona last week. We were walking up a dirt track, and I saw in the shimmering light a black exotic supercar driving slowly towards us. At first I though it was a Ferrari or Lambo - because the immediate impression was of width, but true enough it was a Carrera GT,presumably testing. Of course my camera was back at hotel. Two things struck me: 1. How quiet it was - but accept it was crawling along. 2. How anonymous the shape was in the metal. No Porsche design clues. No organic, bulbous shapes. (Doesn't link into Boxster.) If I wanted to be cruel, would say looks like a fat MGTF from the front. While I am sure that it drives better than anything in the world, I think Porsche have to be careful about ensuring a continuum in their design vocabulary - and not producing a photofit mid-engine exotic. What do you think? Philip
