I definitely replaced the o-rings on both sides, and the protective seal.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I picked up a 2003 Turbo about 8 months ago. During the PPI it was noted that one of the lower seals on the water pump housing was leaking (parts 16, 17, 18 here ) I replaced them, and now it looks like one is leaking again. It seemed like a pretty straightforward job so I'm not sure where/how I messed this up. I definitely replaced the o-rings on both sides, and the protective seal. Anyone dealt with this before and can shed some light so I can get it right this time? Should I be replacing the water pump joining socket or is that reusable? Part number 99610623871 thanks
