I am looking to add an SSK to my C4S and will likely replace cable ends at the same time. I have not seen anything other than OEM ends. What are most people using? Or is there no option other than factory? Thanks in advance Zach

There are options. The OEM pieces are made of plastic and wear and get quite sloppy. When I did my SSK many years ago I used the Agency Power metal Links. Here is a link for them: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Agency-Power...a86245&vxp=mtr I bought mine from a shop, I forget the name, but they were about the same price. The links made a big difference in the amount of play in the shifter.

U may want to stick with oem ends. Nice thing that by accident on track if u hamfisted/forced an upshift the plastic oem will just strip off. If metalend links the cable mite snap. I would just keep a few plastic spares if it happens. Just my 2c. Mike

You will be happy with the billet shift link. The SSK shortens the throw but does little to take the sloppiness out of the system. When I replaced mine I was amazed out how much slop there was in the plastic bushin gin the shift link. I guess you could just replace the plastic bushing.

Ended up using stock end. All I have to say is wow... What a huge difference with the short throw. Took a couple shifts to get the feel of it, but it is far and away a better, more precise shift.
