can someone post the part numbers of the hardtop kit? i'm looking at picking up an 04 cab and i see the tops on ebay but i don't see the hardware kit. where do you all order them? thanks, sid

check the car to see if the hardware is not already there. Many have it and the owners abandon the tops due to limited use. do a search as there are two different hardware styles. Don't pay more than $500 for the top. Many ask more but the market is oversaturated. Hold out for your color and sometjing close enough to pickup with the car.

You might check the option codes on the car to see if "hardtop delete" was a factory option. If so, then the latching mechanism is likely not installed on the car (unless someone has installed it after the fact). I believe it is option code 750.

I just put that kit in 04 C4S. I also scored the hard top for free from my Porsche Dealer. Yes you heard that right. They had several that people never came back to get and he wanted it out of the shop. So you might ask around My option codes said "Hardtop Delete" so it had not hardware.
