Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Okay, this is a strange one. I had my car (2003 C2) jacked up on the rear jack points to remove my mufflers. In doing this the opposite sides suspension is compressed a bit. I'm noting this as this is the only thing I can think of that could of caused this. I took it for a drive after and all was good. A little later, went for another drive, and the steering wheel was noticably off center ( aprox 3-3.5 inches to the left). I checked the suspension parts i.e. ball joints etc. The only thing I noticed was the passenger sway-bar link (drop link) needs to be replaced, it's pretty worn out. Would this cause this kind of alligment issue or should I look in other places? Thanks everyone!

What exactly do you mean by "rear jack points"? The only jack points are the ones indicated in the owners manual. I recently came across a story about a Turbo that was in the shop and one rear suspension member was bent and had to be replaced. The member got bent when the owner had the car in for some work at a shop and the car was not lifted by the factory designated lift points/pads.

Not sure what this means: the opposite sides suspension is compressed a bit. Can you try to describe differently? 2002 Turbo - Basalt Black Metallic / 2003 Carrera 4S - Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 - Rust Red
