The car had 51k miles when I bought it looked to be very well maintained (brake fluid, coolant, oil, pads, tires, alignment, wheel balance, no smoke, no bad synchros, no coolant or oil leaks, good exterior & interior condition, no check engine, no clown upgrades, engine sounds good).

It did set me back to almost $24k with all the taxes, tag, safety inspection, registration, etc fees...
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey Guys! I dont think I have introduced my car in this forum yet.. I bought a 6 speed 1999 C2 around 2 months ago from a PCA member and I will be using it as my daily driver and it will get around 9k miles / year. I am the 3rd owner of it and carfax is clean. I have some maintenance records from the second owner but nothing from the 1st. According to carfax, flywheel was serviced so I imagine that the tranny was out and RMS was either inspected or replaced. Not sure if the IMS was replaced but since its a double row, and there are no leaks in the area, I am not worried. I cleaned the area with some brake cleaner so I can monitor it. I plan on doing all the maintenance myself since I have done it in all my cars including my wife's Audi Q7. I might add some window tints and do a bi-xenon retrofit soon. Next week I will be changing the brake fluid with a motive bleeder & engine oil.
Here is some additional details:

- Traction Control
- Sports seats
- Aluminum trim package (door, ****, cluster)
- Red calipers
- 18" 3 piece Porsche wheels (BBS)
- Yellow seat belts
List of aftermarket upgrades
- H&R coilover suspension
- Fabspeed muflers
- Cargraphic headers
- Aftermarket navigation 6 cd changer & premium sound (Bose)
- Aluminum pedals
- K40 Scanner detector with radar jammer (LOL)
Very nice, you got one of the best option and no option package combo's available.
No option: Rear window wiper and front headlight washers.
It doesn't seem like you have the factory front lip, might also be a good time to upgrade to MK2 Cup car lip/splitter.
It did set me back to almost $24k with all the taxes, tag, safety inspection, registration, etc fees... but heck I think I can get my money back right now if I decide to opt out (never) lol..
Love the way it looks! Nothing better than a MK1 Aero.
Just add Fister D's and RoW M030 suspension (if you don't already have them) and it will sound and handle as good as it looks!
Absolutely gorgeous car. Sounds like you got a great deal with the options and modifications. You are going to love driving it as your daily driver...it will make every commute a special occasion. Welcome to the club.
Thanks guys!, it has been a great experience to drive it every day! I see a lot of people turning heads while I drive around the city and I also get a lot of nice comments.. The only issue that I have is keeping the car clean all the time since I have been going through a lot of rain recently.
This past weekend I changed the oil and the brake fluid myself and my buddy. I will be taking the rear tires to a shop so they can flip them due to slight camber wear on the inner section.
Also, I have been talking to a few people that ask about my car and they are very impressed that its a car from 1999, they always think its almost a new car and expensive too..
