Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I think both cars will see the track shortly I just gave the 996 new pair shoes and as soon as I do a coolant flush, brake flush and tranny oil change both cars will head to the track at the same time.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Stupid fast and very *** happy

POST 2Original post

Very Nice!!!! I love the new Vette's. First design I've liked since the C3. Hope little Yellow doesn't get too jealous and still gets some love here and there.

POST 3Original post

I love having both a Corvette and a 996...such different cars, but both so great at their respective jobs.

POST 4Original post

Looks nice! I have seen a couple of them on the road and they look nicer in flesh than pictures. You did not get it in yellow?

POST 6Original post

In this thread we confirm that 996pp looks a little bit like Kenny Rogers. I'm super jealous. I really love the new vette.

POST 7Original post

Congrats. That's a great addition. Is it going to make it to the track at all?

POST 8Original post

Congrats like many i actually like the new style.

POST 10Original post

Sweet. That thing is a beast! Enjoy. I bet you can really launch that thing....

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you fellas. I will never stop giving the 996 much love. I actually enjoy driving the Porsche more. Its more refined and dialed in machine compared to the vett. I like the power of the vett but its very unpredictable and its got waaaaaayy too many nannies. I think both cars will see the track shortly I just gave the 996 new pair shoes and as soon as I do a coolant flush, brake flush and tranny oil change both cars will head to the track at the same time. My brother will come along and we will switch cars every couple of laps.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The only Yellow that they had in SoCal was an automatic and I didn't want to wait and the red with red interior just looked stunning. Plus that would have made the P-car jealous

POST 13Original post

Nice driveway. Pretty much covers both ends of the performance spectrum.

POST 14Original post

Congrats...all of that low end torque must feel night and day different from the 996. That is a great combo to own(996 and C7) and should compliment each other really well. One is a high revving euro sports car and the other a torque monster American muscle car. Although on the street, low end torque is far more usable...you don't realize how competent and fast the 996 is until you experience it on the track.

POST 15Original post

Congrats! Nice car. BTW, those yellow calipers belong on your Porsche. lol.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Tnx Alp. I already have the yellow calipers on the 996. They put the engine in the wrong place on the Vett. I think im gona take it back to the dealer and have them sort it out.
