Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Last car I looked at in MO had metal in the oil so I decided to pass. My friends say I cant find a 16K 996, I accept the challenge (may waste a few hundred bucks in the process!) EDIT: Scratch that, all 3 cars I enquired about have been sold.

POST 2Original post

For PPI in Atlanta, Motorcars of Georgia. If you're looking for a sub $16k 996, look on the west coast. There are quite a few.

That are not crap I don't mind just past 100k cars, just don't want something that was obviously abused, well worn is OK.

POST 5Original post

Yeah, there are soooooooooooo many daily driven 911's out here with high miles in good shape. Keep an eye on craigslist.

POST 6Original post

I think I may have bought one of the cars you were looking at. Was this one of them? http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/4405146331.html BTW...Hennessy Porsche came highly recommended for the PPI.
