I had Matt @ Guard rebuild one and he put in slightly thick spacers, new clutch plates, and changed the ramp angels to 40/60 for racing....

I know everyone wants the LSD options, and I am still looking for my perfect 1999 996 after a few deals so far have fallen through on me. This one is not colors I like and I have not seen it in person, but it is cheap, has a 1999 buid date and has LSD, assuming the VIN is true. M220,M222 and M224 options. https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/ctd/4441623993.html I could see someone getting this for 15k. I am willing to bet the dealer has no idea. Not for me, but thought I would let others know!

What's your main reason for having it? If your looking at an LSD I can only assume you want it for true track And if that's the case color /xenon doesn't matter much to me. Mike

Plus if you are from around here, we all know how good used car dealers are in Somerville! I wasn't sure how rare the LSD was, so thought if someone is looking for a track car this may be it....

FWIW.... The factory LSD is a very good unit with 4 discs and ramped 25/65 IIRC. It's a very nice setup for street use. I had Matt @ Guard rebuild one and he put in slightly thick spacers, new clutch plates, and changed the ramp angels to 40/60 for racing....
