Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone knows the torque spec for the stock IMS nut?

POST 2Original post

10 ft/lbs for 1st & 2nd generation 24 ft/lbs for LN IMSB

POST 4Original post

It is critical that you torque it properly to draw and set the tube at the correct position. I saw a pic on Jake's FB page a few days ago, someone didn't torque it down properly, and you could see the stud was not in the correct position, this would spell disaster in a short amount of time. The "man invents tool" method: https://rennlist.com/forums/9242386-post91.html About 5 pics down in the above post.

Can you all please confirm torque on the flange nut? I have dual row LN installed and am buttoning up job, getting mixed info on this one. Pelican says up to 24 ft lbs. LN instructions say 7.5 ft lbs ( no more than 16). Bentley video says 9! What's the consensus? Also what side of the flange does the stud o-ring go on? LN instructions say "leave spare oring on base of center stud". I'm only finding one. Pelican clearly shows on outside of flange. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
