Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
26 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

We'll soon post more photos of the car, we're adding some of the finishing touches to it, we are waiting on the front lip on the GT3 bumper. It's a process but this car will be very nice when completed.
Thanks guys and remember who to go to when your calipers need some LOVE...

All the Zimmermans and a few others come like that now. I was a bit confused too at first when they first started coating the surface. I went as far as to try remove the coating before installation with brake cleaner to find out that you're just suppose to let the braking take it off.
Looks nice. Will the yellow paint hold under high heat being the backing plate of the pad? Also, don't drive the car yet, the caliper pin is not fully home yet
I notice there's extra raised material between the top of the calliper and the bottom of the nipple cover, have these been helicoiled? I ask because I had to have this done to two of my callipers that had welded themselves to the nipples (guessing fluid not changed with new nipples frequently enough before I bought it). Anyway if they are, I have problems when bleeding the fluid which then sits between the thread and the calliper, gives me paranoia they're leaking till it works it's way out as the calliper heats up and squeezes the fluid out. Did you seal some how? (Assuming they are)
That material is actually part of the rubber ring of the nipple cover, we didn't remove it during the process, just one of those things, easily fixed as we can remove it and stretch it out and the paint will flake off, then re-install.
I like the fully coated rotors a lot more than I liked having to mask off and paint the hats. No rust anywhere, since the only exposed metal is what the pads touch, which is nice...
I'm sure the paint on the caliper is fine. I was asking the yellow paint on the BACKING PLATE of the pads in the original photo. The brake pad backing plate will be much hotter than the caliper.
Cost for guards RED is currently $135 per each, some colors or custom options may cost more in addition to any shipping cost if required.
