Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It was running 291whp last summer when I dyno'd it.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The engine in my '03 went poof at a free day at HPR this last December. Racing season is here again, so I really need an engine ASAP (read: yesterday). Do any of you have a hint on where to buy one? Ebay USA doesn't have any, google isn't turning up anything, ebay Germany takes too long to ship (next event is the beginning of May)....
Be nice if it had less than 50k on it (rather not have it go bang like the last one right away) but at this point I'll settle for just about anything.
Cheers,
Ricky
Is it rebuildable? No even sure if that is a word.
I had mine rebuilt in under a month including shipping time to CA. May be cheaper than sourcing a used one.
Thanks much! I'll give them a call.
One of the rod bolts gave out... Piston is in quite a number of small pieces. Even has a piece jammed in one of the valves of the next cylinder. Was impressive when it happened. 6k RPM down the main straight at HPR getting ready to grab fourth and bang, pow, poof and that was that.
Unfortunately, the cylinder walls are too badly scored.
With all that said, I got two and a half seasons out of the car on this one engine. It's not the original engine to the car (previous owner went through that engine when he miss-shifted), so I can't say how many miles were on it. It was running 291whp last summer when I dyno'd it. All in all, I can't complain. Just hope I can find an engine lickety-split before the next event comes galloping up.
We don't know ASAP here. My current delivery for an engine reconstruction is February 2015.
But I do have a customer who is selling one of our stock displacement 3.6 upgraded engines that he never even installed. If you want details email

as I have pics of the whole build.
