I used the WheelWax for about a year but I wasn't impressed.

I jack up each wheel so I can spin it and clean the entire wheel (and caliper)every time I wash it.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So how many here remove their wheels to clean the inside? Dirty wheels drive me nuts, and my 996 appears to shed a crazy amount of brake dust. So between the brake dust and all the remnants of removed wheel weight glue I find myself getting ready to remove the wheels for cleaning and difficult task of removing that two sided tape that hold on the weights.
Does anyone here have a wax product that helps repel brake dust? I had never considered this on previous cars but this car will require something.
I use Poor Boys wax for the wheels. It is a better high temp. wax.
If you are removing the wheel weights, do you get your wheels re-balanced after you clean them?
You should get a "Turbo Stick" Wheel Cleaning Tool from Adam's Polishes.
It does a reasonable job of cleaning the brake dust out of the inside of the wheels without removing them. It's fast and easy. I use it every time I wash my car.
The absolute best product is G-Techniq, they do a range of sealants which last up to two years. Google them and you'll see what I mean. C5 is their wheel sealant.

I use the Daytona Speed Master Wheel brush. Does a great job getting into the rims and wheel wells

I jack up each wheel so I can spin it and clean the entire wheel (and caliper)every time I wash it. Then about once a year I take each wheel off and thoroughly clean and wax with Rejex. I also switched to Hawk ceramic brake pads to reduce the dust. It seems to be helping.
I used the WheelWax for about a year but I wasn't impressed. It didn't seem to make much of a difference and since it is a wax it is a bit more time consuming to apply. However I've been very happy with Armorall's (new?) wheel protectant. It definitely helps to keep the brake dust down and it seems to last several weeks with multiple washes. Since it is a spray it is much, much easier to apply than the wax which is a big plus for me. I might not be as effective as a good wax, but since the effort is much lower I tend to use it more regularly.

This is what I use:
Eagle One Keep Clean
Lasts for about two weeks and the brake dust that does stick (not much) washes right off. Makes your rims shiny too...
Clean wheels.
RejeX wax from Bumperplugs.
Armor All Wheel Protectant spray as a topper.
Next time, just wash with warm soapy water. Repeat the Armor All.
Well it won't keep the dust off, but if you get a good brush (doesn't have to be a powered one) like a wheel woolie and some Sonax Full Effect, you won't need to take the wheel off.
Check the Concours forum under the Performance section. Most of Phil @ Detailer's Domains photo write-ups show the stuff in action. It is amazing.
