Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I loved my 98 993CS Aero/M030; but my 02 Cab is a much better vehicle for general-purpose use (in my case, that is)

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well guys I upgraded my 94 964 C4 wide body for a 99 996 C2 with the aero package. It has only 10k on it and I must say what a joy to drive. Dont get me wrong I love my C4. But the C4 was primitive compared to the 996. I have been reading the 996 board for a couple of months usually did the 964 board and want to thank you all for the wealth of information I got. This is my first post on the 996 form!! I must say I will have a hard time keeping the mileage down on this one!! My option are sp,co2,m6s,p14,p15,p72,xaa,x28,y07,y29,288,413,446,490,513,586,659,696,9 82,el The only thing I do not like is the wood wheel and wood shifter/ebrake. I want a thick leather wheel!!!

POST 2Original post

Congratulations and welcome to the best Porsche Forum on the planet! And congrats on your "upgrade" to a 996 (no flames pls). I agree with your assessment of the difference. I loved my 98 993CS Aero/M030; but my 02 Cab is a much better vehicle for general-purpose use (in my case, that is)

POST 3Original post

Congrats-I was always a fan of the 964 chassis ie 964 RSA with loads of feedback. Hope you'll enjoy your 996. Take it out to the track and see how much of a blast it is. Regards. Mike
