Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

17 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Check out the Tequipment area of this site. It looks like it's through Suncoast Porsche? They list it for $1,650. That is the best new price I have seen so far.

POST 3Original post

Yep, I payed the same. No switchy thingies either. Always on. Bill

POST 4Original post

Check to see if the price you're quoted includes the brackets, cabling and switch.

POST 6Original post

I just bought one for 1295. E-mail me for details. Roy

POST 7Original post

Please look at http://www.eurowerks.us/ They make one that does not turn off. In other words, no switches. It is always on. Speak with Jim. No disappointments.

Roy, What is that car in your avatar? I recognize the Turbo and the Cab. What 's the 3rd one? Looks like it will bite and not let go.

POST 12Original post

Whoa!!!!!! Great website, and thanks for sharing. Please explain. How does one import a car like this? What about the hassle factor? It is obviously not legal here, or is it? I read an article some time ago about this car, and the one thing I can remember was that the writer regretted that it's not available here in the US. It is a beautiful car and I wish I can ride in it sometime...Do you come to CMP? Let us know.

POST 13Original post

Arthur, I got mine from Lotus Cars USA, they brought in 13 of the Exige about 50 of the Elise Sport 190s, a few Motorsport Elises and a few 340rs. They are sold as track cars only and all come with a roll cage, fire system, etc. It is the best track car I have ever had. It's not as fast as Cup cars but it's really cheap to run. In 2 years I have only changed the oil and brake pads (1 time). Due to the weight, it's even easy on tires, I'm still on my 1st set (1 set of slicks and 1 set of rains). I would like to go to CMP this year; I have not been there yet. When I do go you are welcome to take it out for a few laps. Roy

POST 15Original post

Roy, I appreciate your offer for me to drive it. There are rules, I think, with DE events where we can only drive our own cars for legal reasons. Plus, I'm afraid that if I take your car out for a spin, I'll end up buying one. Let me know when you come to CMP.

POST 16Original post

Where can I find someone to put in a Sports Exhaust (I'm in Toronto, Canada)? Is it the same unit that would have been installed as past of a factory package? Thanks

POST 17Original post

If you have one of these exhausts currently what is your opinion of the sound? I heard a sound clip and it sounded great. But then I heard one in real life and it sounded kinda crappy. Now I don't know what to think until I hear a tie breaker. Any thoughts?
