Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys, Any recomendations on a set of brake pads for my C4S that will leave little or no brake dust? Muchas Gracias!

POST 2Original post

Little or no brake dust could only mean one of two things. 1. The pad is so hard that the rotor is wearing away instead. 2. There isn't enough friction between the pad and the rotor to wear either away. Personally I think I'll just keeping cleaning my wheels fairly often.

POST 3Original post

This topic has come up a lot lately! wwest has valid points. However, I find PBR / Axxis / Metalmasters to be a good dust free pad and easy on the rotors. Additionally, they are priced very well.

POST 4Original post

For what it's worth...I've got Axiss (sp?) pads on two BMW's and love 'em! Absolutly no dust to speak of and they stop as well or better than the stock pads.
