The stitching will be yellow as well so I guess I should change the belts as well to yellow.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

If you're tall, you might want to get the lower seats (fit a helmet better if you track at all). I agree that yellow belts would be better with the yellow center console. Is you deviating stiching yellow too?
Good luck - sweet car!
Im 6'1 and fit in my 996 with a sunroof. The stitching will be yellow as well so I guess I should change the belts as well to yellow. Does anyone think I'm over doing it with the options? Im also toying with changing the interior carbon trim (except the shifter and e brake) and just doing the "beltline" trim on the dash in yellow as well.
I was just looking at these mp3s of the GT3 and they look good with the various bits of trim that you are ordering. One mp3 has yellow belts and one has red belts.

Ditch:
454 Cruise Control $570
XSX Seat Belts - Guards Red $0
XSC Porsche Crests in Headrests $220
E77 Carbon Package (Small) $2,120
446 Wheel Caps w/Colored crests $175
Z099 Exclusive Opt. in Deviating Stitching $290
z844 Deviating Stitching Seats $230
Get yellow Seat belts, of course. You're probably gonna get GT3 Seats later with the money I'm about to save you,
so there's no need for yellow stitching on seats or crests on headrests. GT3 isn't for crusing, so why cruise control. Small carbon is cheaper aftermarket (ask Gert). I think the wheel caps look better with "GT3"; get the caps with crests aftermarket and get an extra set.
Cripes...
You people! Dont you know that RED is the only color belt that the FIA approves!?
Oh I am sorry, I guess only a real racer would know that...
Get the Red belts & go w/ your original order. Its just right.
If you would rather go yellow belts (so it will please the masses more than the true racecar nutz) then so be it.
Either way, its going to be great.
I'd agree with metal solid. The GT3 is a racer. Flashy stuff, while nice in other cars, would seem out of character in the GT3. It's sorta like putting false eyelashes and rouge on Arnold Schwartzneger (sp?). Keep it low key, and let the GT3 emblem, the engine sound, and the car performance speak for themselves. I would rather the car be less of the loud and boisterous, and more of the strong, silent and devastating!!! If you want some flash. get the roll cage with 6 point harness in red <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" /> .

My dealer confirmed that if you order the colored wheel crests, you get the same gold Porsche emblem that comes on all the other cars. If you want to be unique, keep the standard wheel caps which have the GT3 logo in black.
BTW, if you want to drool over some nice SY pictures check out the Porsche UK site (don't know why these aren't on the lame NA site).

Michael B. the belts he is referring to are the standard issue lap belts and not 5 point harness so FIA certification has no reference place in the discussion. He can put the 5 point harness in later. What's this "real racer" talk about anyway????
Oh, I know the belts he is talking about...
Obviously 3 point belts are not FIA racing belts, however, I would prefer "the look" of the red belts, and think it goes with the theme of the "racecar" essence the GT3 has adhered to anyway. At least it goes with it a lot better than yellow. So yes, FIA red does go along with this thread.
As for "real racer" talk... I have a thorough resume in the Pro ranks. FIA talk means something to a guy like me whereas most people have no idea about it. Simple enough.
Well here is how it turned out....
June Build
Speed Yellow
Add A/C (Can't live w/o it in SFL regardless if its a GT3)
Black Mats w/ Lettering
Bi-Xenons
Lowered Seats
Yellow Belts
Aluminium Dials
Carbon Door Sills
Carbon/Alum. Brake and Shifter
Rear Ctr. Console in Speed Yellow
Center Console w/ GT3 logo and yellow stitching
Thicker Steering Wheel (my personal fav.)
Deviating Stitching on Doors and Dash in Yellow
Destination $765
Grand Total $107,335
How did I do?
BTW there is no Euro Delivery and no addtional options other than what is on the order guide. Dealerships that are getting the GT3 will only be getting one car per month.
Sounds like an awesome car. You will have so much fun driving it. I think your options are perfect. It's you who has to be happy with the car. Be sure to post some pics when you get the car.
