I asked directly to the responsable fron H&R in Geneva Auto's salon about the best compromise between confort and handling, he says, That change only the sport springs H&R with the original Porsche set-up is enough.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm thinking of ugrading my suspension. My main reason is for the lowered look, second for handling. Can anyone share their opinions about the pros/cons of each?

For street and occasional track get the ROW 030, minimal lowering and good handling. Overall, a vast improvement over std M033 with better turn-in, less body roll and a lot less understeer tendancy. Big plus is that this is a factory engineered setup for your car. I am more than happy with RoW on my car.
However, if you track your car a lot I think a coil over can't be beat. Main advantage is adjustability and ride height. Much lower ride height than any factory setup can give you. There are a lot of good systems out there, H&R and Bilstein PSS-9 come to mind. Again, if you track your car much, most likely you will end up with coil overs anyway.
Hey DCFLAT6,
I'm contemplating the same mod and will probably go for the H&R coilovers. The ROW MO30 set up doesn't lower the car enough for the right look. More importantly, I was told that the ROW MO30 ride is actually harsher and doesn't result in the same level of handling. However, the latter is second hand info from a sales guy at By Design in LA who swears by the H&Rs. BTW: They said they'd match the Tire Rack's low price.
I just spent some $$ on Fabspeeds, litronics, clear tail lights and a B&M shortshifter for my 99 996 C2. Financial realities dictate that the coilovers will be put off for a few weeks.
In any case, I'm in Alexandria and would love to have a look at your car when you have either set up installed.

If you don't intend to spend alot of time on the track, stick with the ROW 030. Coil overs will be too stiff and harsh for just bopping around town fun.

Otherwise,I'm agree with DJ996, about the M030 suspension.
since i'm looking to change my Bilstein's set-up, I wonder if to do this (H&R springs and put back on the original suspension) is a good idea...
I have ROW, if I were to do it again I'd go with a coilover. ROW is very stiff (stiffer than my TT with ROW) and is not very low.
I would not put on springs and not change the shocks. The shocks are designed to work with the springs that came on the car, a spring that is lower will impact performance. I did that on my 993 and it was really bad. I had to go back and change out the springs, it made a huge difference.
Good luck.
Roy
Sorry for the double post.
Roy thanks for the info. I think i gonna leave the bilstein setup in my car. Well this one, i founded very harsh. wanted something between confort and handling!.
About the advice from this H&R salesman, i wonder why, He told me this.
I agree, if tracking your car a lot then get coil-overs. Just remember every change in ride height rtequires an alignment, so there could be a huge hastle factor on the street. IMO RoW 030 still offers the best compromise, and the lowering is "just the right amount" for me.
