Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have one wheel I did wrong when I changed my brakes and I don't feel like screwing with it.

If you just disconnect the brake sensors will the alarm clear?

my hawks are pretty quiet, but I do use liberal anti-seize on the backs of the pads.

highest friction (mu), that I can use on the street without having to worry about warming them up like pure race compounds.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am wondering what are the best pads, i.e. highest friction (mu), that I can use on the street without having to worry about warming them up like pure race compounds. My pads right now are at about 30% so it's about that time. I was thinking about a carbon kevlar compound. I have used them on my motorcycles before and really like the results. I have been looking at Pagid, EBC, and Hawk. It seems that everyone here favors Pagid. What is the real deal? I want the shortest stopping power that is consistent, while not sacrificing the rotors as I hear they are pricey to replace. Thanks.
Ok, I have looked through all of the past threads and I am going to have the fluid changed out to ATE Super Blue fluid. I am still torn however on pads. I will drive the car primarily on the street, but I drive the car like I stole it as I am told, so I want a pad that will give me the best performance and the warm up is not too big of an issue as long as they are not full race pads. I am contemplating either PF97's, Pagid Blacks, or Hawk hp plus pads. What would be the best idea given this data? I drive the canyons often and drive sunset hard daily. Thanks.
yeah I am leaning toward the hawk hp+ because of the squel factor, rotor wear, and the warm up. If anyone else has some suggestions I would appreciate it otherwise I am most probably going with those, and the ate super blue fluid. Thanks.
my hawks are pretty quiet, but I do use liberal anti-seize on the backs of the pads. I have gotten them pretty cheap @ www.vertexauto.com
I am not sure if any board sponsors sell them.

I just checked out the site and it seems that they only have the stock pads? In any event tire rack has them and they are relatively cheap there, unless someone knows of a better place I am going to get them there. I still haven't decided between the ebc green and the hawk hp plus though.
If you just disconnect the brake sensors will the alarm clear? I have one wheel I did wrong when I changed my brakes and I don't feel like screwing with it. I'm tired of the light turning on and off
