Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

40 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

"Speed through Life" After being accused of worshiping my car, I just with it and turned my garage into a Temple of Porsche

POST 8Original post

Quotes source post: 10968634

Yeah you never know. If you have ever gone on the Garage Journal forums, they got some crazy setups over there.

POST 9Original post

Based on the other pictures Zanzibar posted, it is his garage. Over the top for my taste, but I definitely give man props for following his dream and building something unique.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The Temple was done by Herpel Cast Stone in Palm Beach Herpel is the Cast Stone contractor for many large homes on the island My home is in the Spanish Colonial style

POST 11Original post

Hey, if you have the means and the space why not ? Pretty cool Zanz

POST 13Original post

Zanz that is absolutely sick, plus later after you sell the house they can convert it into a mausoleum.

POST 16Original post

Quotes source post: 10969227

+2. More pics please. While it may not be everyone's cup of tea, there is no denying the unique nature of it. The construction seems to be carried out well too. Does that by chance fit with the rest of the house?

POST 19Original post

It actually does look more like a final resting place than a temple. So,,, are you just being prepared for CEF or what?

POST 20Original post

Don't take this wrong, KK, but you need some negative reinforcement for your overuse of "CEF." Henceforth, I'ma call you a douche every time you use it in a thread that has nothing to do with engines or catastrophes. Douche.

POST 21Original post

I thought this must'v been where they buried Ferdinand Porsche after i read the title and my first glance at the picture. Looks good. Red, the modern day Conquistador!

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 10969207

Sell the Temple ? Blasphemy !

POST 24Original post

Doric columns on the front porch. Ionic columns on the garage. Hmm, did you buy the house & garage that way, or did you retrofit the garage?

POST 25Original post

For authentication purposes, a photo of the open doors with a ZZB-red Porsche in it would pretty well confirm it for me.

POST 27Original post

How about this? I should be allowed to use it in 8% to 10% of my posts, right? So I am nowhere near the use vs. CEF rate. Back to Zan: I really like the columns and theme. Thinking of something similar for my pool house.

POST 28 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 10970377

The garage was a birthday huge from Herpel. Cast Stone, he did this from a sketch On a napkin do I was not too picky about column types

POST 29Original post

Nice and clean garage with the Porsche pampered in a/c. KK would be proud.

POST 30 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 10970988

I'm in Florida The a/c is for dehumidification

POST 31Original post

I love the garage - it's even better that you added it yourself! The a/c is definitely smart. I lived in P-cola for 2 years going through flight school, and yeah, it gets just a bit humid down there. Had a '74 Vette convertible with a 454 and NO air conditioning!

. 8% to 10% ??? You are an idiot. Where did you get your data from? What was the population size and source? I'd like to see the numbers behind your calculations. 2003 Carrera 4S Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 Rust Red

POST 33Original post

I was rather expecting fresco painting on the walls Very nice; anyone who invests in a man cave, regardless of its style, gets my wholehearted endorsement.

POST 34Original post

The name calling is amazing. I dont stoop to such a low level but, here it is: Back to the garage; Your floor looks really nice. Reminds me I need to re-coat mine.

POST 35Original post

That's one clean looking garage. I think a few framed Porsche posters would be a great touch to possibly add down the road though.

POST 36Original post

Quotes source posts: 10971243, 10971678

Even better and a smart idea. I hate trying to detail my car when it's humid as everything(wax, sealant, etc) takes longer to dry. +996

POST 37Original post

i wonder what the neighbors really think of the man cave

POST 38Original post

Quotes source post: 10972139

Don't matter, it's his land and his garage. As long as the city is ok with it in terms of building code, they could kiss his ****. I'm glad I got cool neighbors though.

POST 39Original post

Quotes source post: 10970434

Fully authenticated! Functional and stylish, just like the resident machine! Bravo! Where will the workbench go?

POST 40Original post

I have to agree. Why would he care what anyone thinks as long as he likes it? I think it looks pretty cool and original. I dont think Ive designed anything in my backyard worrying about the neighbors opinions.
