Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used silicone also, so if later I become TOO obssesive I can pull 'em off and paint them.

I used silicone so I can take them off if I change my mind.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Rings is it Rob! go for it.. looks retro with the leather color of the dash.
..and btw check the 'leather wearing' post replies, am sure you'll get rid of the old 'perforated' denim u're wearing..

On a Boxster S the normally black trim rings are simply painted silver. Jeff

I like the wood trim too, though there may be only a few of us....I got flamed back a few months ago when I posted a picture of my interior with the wood trim.
Ok I did it. I used silicone so I can take them off if I change my mind. When they came, they looked too white/light. A light coat or two of Krylor (or Dupli-color) Chrome gives them a textured finish that matches MUCH better with the e-brake, shifter, etc. They look OEM now, I highly recommend this, maybe <a href="http://www.performanceproducts.com/" target="_blank">Performance Products</a> will get some feedback. Thanks to MKW for the tip.

Rob they look great with the black dials/wood combo. Painting does make them come alive . <a href="http://hobbystage.net/porsche/mkw/" target="_blank">" Chrome" painted gauge trim rings </a>
I just installed my dash rings. I agree that they're too white to really match the finish on the shifter, but they still look good.
I used silicone also, so if later I become TOO obssesive I can pull 'em off and paint them.
But for now...they're good.
