Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I had them installed not too long ago and it seems to me like the screws put a lot of strain on the plastic so I wanted to make sure it was done right.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

can someone with the MKII sideskirt post a photo on how they are bolted ? I look at mine and it is ugly..I wonder if that is how they are done when they come factory installed... ? I doubt it.

POST 2Original post

That's pretty much how mine looks. I'm pretty sure this is normal. Every used sideskirts I've seen had the high/low spots where the screws were pushing the skirt up.

POST 3Original post

MK1 here but the picture is the same as mine. Gotta ask.....so who is noticing this? Btw are you missing some panels underneath?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had them installed not too long ago and it seems to me like the screws put a lot of strain on the plastic so I wanted to make sure it was done right. I think I have all panels underneath but yeah these two line on the side are unprotected. right side of the car.
